A Peek Inside ;)

As you know, I’m Katerina… but my friends call me Kat. I’ve been creating content now since 2022 and I just wanted to share some of my story. I’ll try to catch you up to where I am now. Grab a yummy drink and buckle up baby!!

Let’s start us off from the way back. I was born and raised in a smallish town in Central Virginia. It was the type of town where you knew most people’s business, and they knew yours. Honestly, I hated it. Most of my youth was consumed by gymnastics and dance. I think those were easily the happiest memories of my youth.

I never did well in school. Between my dyslexia, lack of social skills, and problems at home, I was always behind. I didn’t have many friends. Some days, I’d be eating my lunch in the bathroom lol. My goal was to keep my head down and muscle my way through high school. People knew me as the shy, freaky band girl. I honestly didn’t hate my reputation. My school let me take on extra classes so I could graduate a year early, they knew I was over it.

‍ ‍ As my escape from the world, I would watch van life videos. I dreamed of being a little hippy girl who lived in her old rusty van. I was broke as hell out of high school, so I put that dream on the back burner and attempted to navigate this world as a young adult.

I worked a few dead end jobs after I graduated. My thoughts were that I would eventually be something more… but nope. It was a few years of the same shit. Same shitty job, same shitty boyfriend, and the same shitty lifestyle. For awhile things started to look hopeless, and I was starting to accept this bleak life that I’d made for myself. That was up until Covid changed everything for me.

‍ ‍I lost my job due to Covid. I knew I couldn’t stay home all day with my boyfriend at the time, he was unemployed and batshit crazy, so I got a job at the local plant nursery. It didn’t pay much, but I was ready to finally work with something I was passionate about. My first day working there, they had me working the register. There was this kid, fresh out of high school, with long black hair who worked the heavy equipment. His name was Xan. On our very first interaction, he grabbed my arm to inspect my tattoos and tell me how much he liked them. I was immediately hooked, I’ve never met someone so blunt in my life. Xan made it clear from the start that he was interested in me, but he was already planning on heading out soon and traveling in his car. I wanted to leave with him more than I’ve ever wanted something before. He gave me the confidence to leave my abusive relationship and give it a go with him. Oh boy, did I make the right choice.

From the start of our relationship, we’ve been extremely sexually active together. We were so active, I don’t think we got anything done the first few months together, we were boning so much. Our original idea was to work odd jobs while living on the road together, but then we came up with the brilliant idea of making content to help support our traveling. It seemed so fitting for us. We quit our jobs at the nursery, bought the cheapest camper we could find, and hit the road while filming along the way. I enjoyed every second of our travels together, the ups, the downs, and everything in between. Living an alternative lifestyle made me tough in a way I never thought I could be. I mean damn, for awhile it was nothing but canned food and a Home depot bucket to shit in. 3 years after hitting the road we decided to call it quits. By this point we had lived in 3 campers and built out a van. We were burned out with the dwelling lifestyle and I felt like I had gotten my fill of true freedom. We knew it was time to settle down for now, so we bought a small house, with a small yard, right on the train tracks in a Florida beach town.

Now, in this part of our life, we’ve been restarting our plant collections and getting back to hobbies we’ve had to put off. My life moves quick and my story is always expanding, but I think I’m ready to start really slowing down. I’ve recently been on a mission to give you the most authentic version of myself. No more trends, no more making content just for clicks, no more worrying if I’ll make money off it. Everything I produce from now on, is content that I’m personally passionate about and proud of. I want y’all to like me for who I am, and not because I’m a clone of the other million creators who post the same stuff.

Thanks for the read. It means a lot to me having a following as sweet as y’all!! Stick around, I have a feeling we’ll be getting into some wild shit. I love y’all

Your favorite pet,

Kat
